Longline and front closure sourcing checklist

Specify front closure bras clearly

Start with the closure position and fastening type. Ask whether the selected design has hooks or another closure, and confirm how the wearer opens it. Check the sample for access, edge finish and ease of fastening. Do not infer accessibility or support claims from its appearance.

Review longline band proportions

For a longer band, define the required depth and where the lower edge should sit. Compare fit while sitting and moving, as well as standing. Also review elastic tension, seam placement and any internal shaping components for the selected style.

Agree sample checks

Provide a size chart, measurement points and the intended wearer profile. Record closure dimensions and band measurements in the sample approval checklist. Confirm required material or closure tests separately; a photograph is not a test result.
